• Congratulations to Dr. Bill Meyer, who was elected President of the North Carolina Obstetrical and Gynecological Society; he started his term April 17, 2011.
  

• Sept 24 , 2010  Dr. Meyer presented a lecture at Notre Dame University, South Bend Indiana on “ Presentation of Pregnancy Induced Hypertension”, in Father Thomas Streit undergraduate class in “Common Diseases”.

• Dr. William Meyer presented at the Rex Hospital OBGYN Grand Rounds on Thursday, May 6, 2010.   The topic that Dr. Meyer discussed was Progesterone: All you wanted to know.

• Carolina Conceptions presented two papers at the 65th Annual ASRM (American Society of Reproductive Medicine) in Atlanta, Georgia on October 17-21. ASRM is designed to meet the educational needs of both practitioners and scientists within the fields of reproductive medicine and biology. The two topics presented by Carolina Conceptions were “Anti-Mullerian Hormone is predictive of the number of oocytes retrieved but not of pregnancy outcome in IVF” and “The use of Anti-Mullerian Hormone in the evaluation of egg donors”.
