Carolina Conceptions is a private fertility practice comprised of experienced board certified specialists who are dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care with the latest world-class technology when needed, resulting in outstanding success rates.

Since opening in 2006, Carolina Conceptions has provided in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine inseminations (IUI), ovulation induction, egg donation/ egg recipiency, reproductive surgery and semen analysis. Carolina Conceptions also provides preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), embryo adoption, and gestational carrier/surrogacy treatment along with many other services dedicated to "Making Families a Reality.”

Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, the practice regularly serves patients in and around the Research Triangle, including Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, Apex, Garner, Clayton, Fuquay Varina, Smithfield, Wilmington, Rocky Mount, Greenville, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Burlington and Pinehurst.  We also treat patients outside of North Carolina via remote monitoring.

Most patients do not need a referral to make an appointment at Carolina Conceptions. Your insurance plan may allow you to call us directly to schedule an appointment without going through your primary care doctor. If you have any questions about your insurance coverage before making an appointment, you can contact our financial counselors at extension 104 and they will be happy to assist you.

We understand that many couples are hesitant to see an infertility specialist, fearing expensive testing and treatment such as IVF. We encourage you to make an appointment with one of our doctors for a consultation, especially if you have been trying to conceive for a year, or you are older than 35 years of age and have been trying for more than 6 months.  This first consultation is an opportunity to have all of your questions answered and is most informative if old records are available for our review. The options for testing and treatment will be discussed but there will be no pressure to begin treatment such as IVF.  No questions are considered irrelevant and may present an interesting way to look at your situation. Most insurance plans will cover testing for infertility, along with some basic treatment options.  Many couples come to Carolina Conceptions to gain insight into their problem, and often return when ready to start treatment.  There is no hard sell to undergo expensive treatment and many couples conceive with simple therapies.

Despite what the media portrays, women have a much harder time having children once they reach their mid to late 30’s.  Up to 60% of infertile couples felt that conception past the age of 40 was easy, based on their impression of celebrities and their spouses.  At Carolina Conceptions, we would like to remind infertile couples that the best predictor of a woman’s chance of conception is her age.  For many women, the biological clock stops ticking in the late 30’s, which is why the American Society for Reproductive Medicine recommends a fertility evaluation after just 6 months of infertility for women over the age of 35.

We welcome any questions or concerns, which can be addressed to our physicians through our facebook page or by email to .
