Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) Chances of Success:
2007 IUI Statistics for Carolina Conceptions

The table below displays the 2007 statistics for chances of conception at Carolina Conceptions with insemination (IUI). Almost all IUI’s were timed to an injection of Ovidrel 35 to 40 hours earlier.

Please note that donor sperm IUI will have higher percentage of success because in many cases in which husband IUI is performed, there is a known or suspected sperm problem. It is interesting to note that sequential cycles (5 days of Letrozole followed by rFSH (Follistim, Gonal F, Bravelle) had a higher pregnancy rate than standard superovulation (using only  rFSH) and tends to be less expensive due to fewer units of r FSH used by the woman and fewer blood draws and ultrasound visits during the cycle.
