Carolina Conceptions is the fastest growing infertility/ in vitro fertilization (IVF) private practice in North Carolina serving the Triangle, including Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham and Chapel Hill. We also regularly see infertility patients from Wilmington, Rocky Mount, Greenville and Greensboro. Carolina Conceptions provides on-site IVF, egg donation/ egg recipiency, husband and donor intrauterine inseminations (IUI), and soon will offer a gestational carrier/surrogacy program. We are a member of the Society of Assisted Reproduction (SART) and are FDA certified. We are also a United Healthcare (UHC) Friendly Facility.

Drs. Couchman, Meyer, and Park are not just board certified Obstetricians/Gynecologists, but they're also subspecialists in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. They've completed two or three year fellowship training at Duke, Yale and Emory respectively.

Dr. Park is currently board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (passed written exam and will take his oral exam in 2009, both prerequisites to become subspecialty certified). He recently conducted Grand Rounds at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, on October 2, 2008. The title of his presentation was “Reproductive Implications of Autoimmune Thyroid Disease”.

Drs. Couchman and Meyer are board certified subspecialists in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and undergo recertification annually by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Carolina Conceptions works as a team—the physicians realize the utmost importance of having a receptive and friendly staff, which includes seasoned laboratory personnel, nurses with experience in infertility, and easy access to a reproductive urologist and infertility counselor. Our embryologists are some of the most patient-friendly and expert technicians around. Most of our referrals come from local physicians or satellite physicians outside of the area, but many referrals come from our prior patients. In the first two years of practice we have seen patients from Colorado, Texas, West Virginia, Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, New York, and Malaysia.

We pride ourselves on efficient use of your time. With eight ultrasound machines and on-site phlebotomy and hormonal analysis, your morning monitoring visits should be minimal. Men can call to make an appointment for a semen analysis without a physician referral and can be seen within one business day. We also guarantee that our physicians will make time to see new infertility consultations within two weeks.
