Assisted Hatching

Carolina Conceptions offers Assisted Hatching (AH), a Photoprocedure which helps the embryo implant in the uterus.

Assisted hatching (AH) is a laboratory procedure that involves making a small hole in the outer (noncellular) coating of the embryo, called the zona pellucida. This small hole is thought to assist embryos in hatching out of the zona pellucida. This hatching process is necessary for implantation and the establishment of pregnancy.

You will be given detailed consent forms (password required) concerning IVF / AH laboratory processes, and you must review and sign them prior to the beginning your medications.
