Sperm Freezing

Sperm freezing can be done for several reasons. If the male is undergoing radiation or chemotherapy for cancer, is being transferred out of country for the military and his wife is currently undergoing infertility therapy then he may consider sperm freezing. Egg freezing is still considered experimental and although pregnancy rates are improving after thawing and IVF,  the procedure should mainly be used for women who are to undergo treatment for a cancer that may result in permanent sterility.
