Meet Our Team

Lisa Teesdale, RN, BSN

(Regis University, Denver, CO, 1992). Lisa started her career as an Air Force nurse officer working primarily in women’s and infant’s health. She served during Dessert Storm and was station at Travis AFB (Fairfield, CA) and Vandenberg AFB (Lompoc, CA). She was nominated Officer of the Quarter, was elected secretary of the Company Grade Officer’s Counsel/Public Relations chairman, unit educator and served as unit Quality Assurance Officer. She resigned her military commission as a Captain late 2007. Lisa has worked PRN, agency, traveling, part-time and full-time nursing positions primarily in neonatal intensive care (NICU) and labor and delivery (L&D). Lisa joined HealthOne (Denver, CO) in 2000 working PRN in the NICU and Newborn Nurseries and eventually accepted a part-time position once her children were in school. Lisa was a voluntary preceptor for senior nursing students as well as new hires, authored unit hospital policy, and received the Hospital Nurse Recognition Award for Excellence in 2006 as well as an Award for Excellence for mentoring. Lisa worked the past 7 years at HealthOne until relocating to North Carolina during the summer of 2007. She, her husband and three children enjoy living near the ocean (the trade-off for her Rocky Mountains) and taking weekend trips to the beach. Lisa joined Carolina Conceptions in 2007 and is one of the part-time nurses. She enjoys fertility nursing saying she has never ceased to be amazed by the miracle of life and the importance of family.
