Taylor Allison, RN
Taylor was born in Danville, Virginia. When she was 13, she had a spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis at Duke Children’s Hospital, which was part of what sparked her passion for nursing. While she was in nursing school, she worked as a psychiatric aide at a mental institution for 3 years, which she absolutely loved. She graduated from Danville Community College with her AD in Nursing in May of 2016. About a year into her nursing career, she decided to move to Durham to be closer to work, and then relocated to Raleigh in 2018 once she began working at Carolina Conceptions. Prior to working at Carolina Conceptions, she worked at Duke University Hospital on an inpatient adult medical-oncology unit for her first year and a half as nurse. Between working in psych and oncology, she’s learned a lot about the importance of empathy and compassion, which she hopes to bring to her patients here in fertility as well. She enjoys getting to know the patients and being there for them for both their highs and lows. In the future, Taylor would potentially like to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
In her free time, Taylor travels back home to see family often on weekends. Taylor is very close to her family, especially her two younger brothers. When she isn’t back home visiting family, she loves shopping, trying exciting new things, & going to different fun events around the Raleigh area.
